TROSETH & NEWTON TIE FOR THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

 RETIREES BRITISH OPEN END IN A TIE

John Newton shot a sparkling net 67 on the final day to tie Paul Troseth for the 'Champion Golfer of the Year' title, both with 139 totals. Paul had lead every round with 69-70 as his two best net scores while John had scores of 72-67.

Don Szilagyi was alone in 2nd (142) and six players were tied for 3rd  David Panton, Ray St.Jean, Robin Valentine, Keith Wallis, Tom Gawryletz, and Al Holm (143).

August is Fed Ex Cup month and the last of our month long competitions. Three rounds with your two best net scores counting toward the final score. No season long point this time — too much work!

AUGUST IS DICE SCRAMBLE MONTH

Skill rolling the custom made dice to determine which tee shot must be used, can make or break a team's chances in the Dice Scramble. The dreaded 'Frowny Face' needs to be avoided in order to score well.
