  BIRCHBANK RETIREES MASTERS WINNER The month long Masters event concluded and the 2023 Retirees Masters winner Marlin Frederick donned the famous 'Green Jacket', with help from last year's co-winner Jim Campbell. No big paycheck like the professionals, but Marlin did receive a sleeve of golf balls autographed by past Masters Champions. RETIREES OPENING SCRAMBLE WRAPS UP Birchbank Retirees have wrapped up their first month of the 2023 season by hosting their Opening Shambles Tournament. Sunny skies and snow capped mountains greeted the 48 players as they teed off for a modified scramble followed by brunch and prizes. RETIREES OPENING April 27 9am It might be rainy this morning, but it's all sunshine and bluebirds for our official opening tournament on Thursday.  Check-in starts at 9am, shotgun at 10am. Please check-in first when you arrive or call the ProShop if aliens have landed on your driveway preventing you from getting to the course. MAY TEE TIMES BEGIN AT 9AM  Reminding you that our MAY tee times begin at  9aAM starting next week  — the sign up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board Thursday morning and now will come down on MONDAY MORNING.  RETIREES INVITATIONAL SIGN UP BEGINS THURSDAY April 27 We are hosting the first event of the Inter-Club series on May 25. Castlegar (June 15) & Christina Lake (Sept7) have confirmed their dates. We are planning for up to  100 players and our club members get preferred entry and pricing.  Check your calendar, make sure you enter early.
