2021 SEASON RESULTS

 Due to COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions we did not host any events in 2020, however we were able to host a few events in 2021.

Birchbank Retirees members are working hard at following the Club's COVID protocols while they play in order to keep the course a safe place to play. Masks, sanitizing, and distancing keep us all playing.

APRIL 2021- MASTERS MONTH

Dewdney Wins the April Masters
April was Masters Month for the Birchbank Retirees Club with three rounds played and the champion selected using their best two net score rounds. Richard Dewdney is the 2021 Birchbank Masters Champion with a two best net scores total of 137 narrowly beating Stan Trozzo by 3 strokes. 


MAY 2021 - PANDEMIC PROTOCOL PLAY

Sunny but windy conditions greeted the players for the first event of May. 35 players played 18 holes from the white tees and results are:

Low Gross - 1st:Tony Deluca (72). 2nd: Glenn Gustafson (77)
Low Net  - 1st: Tony Deluca (62).  2nd: Brian Austin (69)
Closest to the Pin (KP) Hole 7 - Ross Brinson
Longest Putt (LP) Hole 9 - Don Hooper

SEPTEMBER 2021 - CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

The Retirees Club Championship was played Sept 16 and marks the official end of the Retirees season. Forty two players teed off competing in three flights to determine the Overall Low Gross Champion and Overall Low Net Champion as well as Flight winners.

Thanks go out to Al Larocque and son for their engraved, cherry wood pen sets for the two overall winners, to Dave Muir for donating golf balls for draw prizes, and to Jeff Papillion and his staff for their generous support and cooperation throughout the entire season.
