COLVILLE INVITATIONAL
Mark August 2 on your calendar if you are interested in travelling to Colville for the next Invitational Tournament. We have not received any details yet other than the date.
Watch the Retirees bulletin board and your emails for details when they arrive.

JULY IS 'THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP' MONTH
Get ready to compete for the Retirees British Open title beginning July 7 with your best 2 rounds used to determine who wins the Tee Bag and lifts the Claret Jug.
The wrinkle for this month — at least one round to be played from COMBO TEES — either Red/White combos or White/Blue combos.
So choose wisely based upon your handicap and play from the Combo tees on July 7.
Don't forget to fill in your July handicap between now and July 7. List will be posted on the bulletin board.

JULY SCRAMBLE AND LUNCH
Our next scramble will be the DICE SCRAMBLE, July 23 9AM shot gun start. How does Chinese food sound for lunch? Please comment!
Watch for sign up information in early July.

FIRST DAYS OF SUMMER

It's officially summer this week and the weather looks like it will be grand for the next week at least. Here is a bit of news for this week and next.

 RWB SCRAMBLE & LUNCH - June 23

1) Reminder that this week's event is the RED-WHITE-BLUE Scramble with a 9AM shotgun start - please be sure to check in before the  8:35AM meeting so that any last minute changes can be made.
2) Lunch and prizes will follow the completion of play. 50/50 this week will include some prizes provided by the Trail Hockey Club Society.
3) We are looking for some additional help for the Retirees Committee - now that we are contemplating a return to hosting our Birchbank Invitational, a few more members are needed to help with organization and running of our events.
4) Team pairings will be posted Wednesday on the bulletin board.

MEETING & YOUR COMMENTS
The Committee will meet right after the close. If you have any suggestions for improving or changing our events  please take a few minutes to bring your ideas to the Committee.

NEXT WEEK - June 30 Retirees
Our June 30 date will be an open day - no scorecards turned in, no KP or LP. Just enjoy a relaxing day on the course with friends.

JULY HANDICAP UPDATE
Watch for the handicap update sheet starting July 7 and put your updated WHITE & BLUE handicaps in.
