DAY ONE — THIS GAME IS EASY!
(1) Playing in the first group of the day, Jim Campbell will be hard pressed to have a better opening round of golf after a hole-in-one at #7. (Personally, I don't like to play my best round until later in the season so I can keep improving

(2) A chilly start for the first groups off at yesterday's course opening. Everyone was amazed at the condition of the course in general and the greens in particular.
(3) A couple of big, overhanging trees were cut down that will make most players happy — left of #1 beside the creek and left of #6 also beside the creek. They were freshly fallen and will take a bit of time to clean up, so be aware.
(4) The Bistro is open but is NOT serving food yet — not enough staff yet to run the kitchen, however bar service is open.
RETIREES OFFICIAL OPENING SCRAMBLE - APRIL 21
It doesn't look like there will be brunch, but we are going ahead with our opening scramble on April 21, 10AM modified shotgun start, check-in begins at 9AM.
